Hodi Stay is a travel concierge born in Kigali, for finding a place to stay in Africa. You say what you need in one conversation, here or on WhatsApp; Hodi shows you places a person from the team has checked, and stays with you until you arrive.

How a place is checked
A person looks at every place before you do
We speak with the host
A person from the team contacts the person who will welcome you, and goes through the Hodi standard.
We check the photos
The photos must show the place as it is today: no photo used by another place, no stock picture, no watermark.
We check the address
An address and arrival details you can use. When something must be seen on site, the team can plan a visit.
How you pay
Your money goes to the host, never to Hodi
Once the host has confirmed your dates, you pay the host, not Hodi. Hodi never holds your money.
1 · The host confirms
Hodi checks the place is free and gives you the amount, the number and the name of the person you pay. Before you pay, Hodi shows the place’s cancellation conditions, or tells you to ask the host if none are set.
2 · You pay and send the proof
Mobile money or bank transfer, as the host accepts. Paste your operator’s message or send a screenshot, here or on WhatsApp.
3 · Hodi checks, the host confirms
The amount, the recipient, the date, a transaction number never used before. Then the host confirms they received the money: that is what confirms your stay.

What protects you
From the request to your stay
Protected messages
Phone numbers, e-mails and links stay hidden between you and the host until the stay is confirmed, so every booking goes through the checks.
Reviews from real guests
Only travelers who stayed can leave a review, and the host can answer it publicly.
A problem during your stay
Report it from My trips, from the day before arrival to three days after: the team is alerted at once, and a safety issue is marked urgent.
Your data, your choice
See and delete what Hodi remembers, choose your cookies, delete your account whenever you want.
Checks reduce uncertainty; they are not a guarantee that nothing can go wrong. Refunds follow the host’s own conditions (ask the host before you pay if none are shown), and the Hodi team helps you settle any problem with the host.
